Terms of Service

Effective Date: October 1st, 2025

Welcome to Train 2.0 Ottawa Valley. By booking or participating in any of our hockey skill development sessions, video analysis services, or related activities, you (“Participant,” “Parent/Guardian,” or “Team Representative”) agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Services Provided

We provide hockey skill development sessions for teams, private groups, and individual players, including on-ice training, off-ice training, and video analysis. Services may include filming sessions for coaching, training, and promotional purposes.

2. Session Booking & Attendance

All sessions must be booked in advance through our booking system.

Sessions are non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to player absence, injury, or inability to attend.

Missed sessions may not be rescheduled unless expressly agreed upon by the Company in writing.

The Company is not responsible for any missed opportunities or consequences arising from non-attendance.

3. Video & Media Usage

The Company may capture photos, videos, and other recordings of sessions, players, and activities for coaching, training, and promotional purposes.

By participating in our sessions, you grant Train 2.0 Ottawa Valley the right to use your image, likeness, voice, and performance in any media, including but not limited to social media, websites, advertising, and promotional materials, without compensation or additional consent.

If a participant does not wish to be filmed, it is their responsibility to notify the us in writing prior to the session. Please email [email protected] if you wish to do so.

4. Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to act safely, responsibly, and respectfully during all sessions.

The Company reserves the right to refuse participation or remove any participant from a session due to unsafe or disruptive behaviour.

No refunds will be issued for removed participants.

5. Assumption of Risk & Liability

Hockey is a contact sport, and participation carries inherent risks. By participating, you acknowledge and accept all risks, including injury or property damage.

The Company, its employees, coaches, and contractors are not liable for injuries, accidents, or losses sustained during sessions.

Participants are responsible for appropriate equipment, safety gear, and medical conditions.

6. Payment Terms

All payments must be completed prior to the start of the session unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Sessions are non-refundable, and no credit will be issued for missed sessions.

7. Privacy

Any personal information collected during registration will be used solely for session management, coaching purposes, and promotional content as outlined in this agreement.

We do not sell personal information to third parties.

8. Modification & Termination

The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice.

Continued participation in sessions after changes have been posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

The Company may cancel or reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., facility closure, inclement weather) and will make reasonable efforts to notify participants.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.

Any disputes arising from participation in our Services shall be resolved in accordance with these laws.

10. Acknowledgment

By registering for or participating in any session, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service in full.
